Prepare-for-War
This scripture clearly shows that a Christian can break a hole in the protective hedge. They can do this by sin, and the clear statement is made that when they do this, "a ser pent shall bite" them. In Luke 10:19 Jesus refers to demons as "serpents and scorpions." Fornication is definitely such a hedge-breaking sin. Demons are a "venereal disease" much more devastating than herpes or AIDS! They are passed from one person to another through sexual intercourse. That is why the most effective tool of recruitment into Satanism is through sexual encounters. This is why all the pagan temples today and down through history have had temple prostitutes. The demons placed in the unsuspecting person through inter course with a satanist then influences that person into Satanism. «Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is with out the body; but he that committeth fornication sin neth against his own body ... therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit ... " I Corinthians 6:18 & 20 I call "breaking the hedge" (Ecclesiastes 10:8) a doorway. I have written much more on this subject in Chapter 10. I have to chuckle a bit when someone piously tells me, "A Christian can't be indwelt by a demon because he is the temple of the Holy Spirit and the two can't be in the same house at the same time." Solomon said it best:
"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?" I Kings 8:27
God the Holy Spirit is omnipresent. This being the case, how can demons dwell anywhere if the two cannot be in the same place at the same time?
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear ofGod." II Corinthians 7: 1
