Translating English Names into Hebrew When translating an English name into the Hebrew alphabet, it is important to note that the Hebrew alphabet contains twenty-two letters, which are all consonants. Sometimes, if certain vowels appear in the middle of a word or name, they may be translated to the letter vav. When translating the names of Bush and Gore, note that the "u" in Bush and the "o" in Gore are translated as vav. When a vowel is at the end of a name, such as in Gore, the vowel is dropped and not translated. I want to point out again that, in this book, we used the symbolism of the Hebrew letters to give meaning to the names Bush and Gore. This is not the normal way of translating someone's name, so a person should not place too much emphasis on this method. I placed this in the book as a point of interest. Beyond 2008 The world is not coming to an end. When the Bible uses the term end of the world, the word world is a Greek word meaning age (Matthew 24:3). Literally, it means the end of the age. The end of the age alludes to the time when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of God, and when Christ will rule on earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:6).
