Plucking the Eagle's Wings

climax of the Gentiles, or the peak of America's spiritual greatness. Even if the 43 rd president is elected for a second term from 2004 to 2008, I believe that America will more than likely have a 44 th or even a 45 th president. We can assume this based upon the fact that the tribulation will be seven years long and, if Christ tarries, America may have many more presidents. I emphasize the number forty-three because I see it as a prophetic signal pointing to the end of the fullness of the Gentiles and a completion of America's assignment and evangelism. The final judgment upon Israel and Jerusalem came within a forty-year period, from the time of Christ's ministry to the invasion of the Romans in 70 A.D. Since 1967, Jerusalem has been united in the hands of Israel. The Lord has been building up Zion (Jerusalem) since 1967. A complete forty-year cycle will conclude between 2007 and 2008. Our 43 rd president will serve during part and perhaps all of the final seven years of this cycle. There are presently over 6 billion people on earth today. It took over nineteen centuries for the earth's population to increase from 140 million to one billion people. Yet, in just 100 years, the population grew from one to six billion. Because of the number of people alive today, more people accepted Christ as Savior between 1987 and 1997, than between 33 A.D. and 1987! What was not accomplished in 1,900 years was accomplished in just 10 years. One of the greatest challenges of the church is to translate the Bible into every language on earth. According to missionary sources, there were about 13,000 language groups in 1995. Since many do not speak English and cannot receive Christian television or radio, how can they be reached? In 1995, there were 1,739 unreached language groups. Christian organizations and missionaries have been targeting these unreached groups, and five years later, only 526 major unreached
