Using the Power of the Seed But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred. —M ARK 4:8

P RAYERS ARE PRAYED with the intention of being answered. However, in the story of Jacob’s ladder, Jacob made a vow to give a tenth of all that God gave him back to God (Gen. 28:20– 22). In this chapter we will examine the power and principles of giving and correct several misunderstandings that I believe have arisen that have hindered people from receiving breakthroughs. In the history of the world, there has only been one six day time frame when things that are produced from seeds actually began without a seed—during the original six days of Creation. The sun, moon, and stars were created fully operational without some alleged evolutionary process (Gen. 1:14–19). The green grass, fruit-bearing trees, and flowering plants were spoken into existence fully mature (vv. 11–13), and even Adam was formed from the dust as a fully grown man, without enduring the
