Masonic & Occult Symbols Illustrate

“After researching traditional religious symbols, within two weeks Janiak developed his symbol of unity. The symbol is a circular shape called the mandala. The mandala symbolizes completeness and unity, Janiak said. “The design is ‘the sun in the form of the radiating shape of the iris of the eye of God,’ according to Janiak. The symbol is based on ancient poetic spiritual concepts: the all seeing eye of God; fire, flame and the sun as the source of all life on earth; the sun as the sustenance and source of life on earth; and a single candle flame, as the proverb, ‘Light one candle instead of cursing the darkness.’ “Nine individual flames surround the core, representing the different paths of the WORLD’S RELIGIONS, WHICH ALL COME FROM THE SAME SPIRITUAL SOURCE, according to Janiak.”

Once again we can see that the designer of this logo knew exactly what he was doing. He even said that the symbol is a MANDALA. However, to fully understand what Janiak had in mind, we need to find out what a mandala is. In the book, The Tantric Mysticism of Tibet, we are told that the yin/yang concept forms the mandala’s basis. This is interesting since we’ve already seen the occultic yin/yang symbolism. One magazine tells us: “The word mandala can be translated from Sanskrit as MAGIC CIRCLE. When we fill the circle with color, forms and symbols, it can be a MAGICAL experience.” [Italics in the original; Caps and boldface added]
