The Occult Emporium, which sells human bones, has an oil lamp as their logo. They explain: “Our logo is a drawing of a fine bronze oil lamp. Nine were made for Aleister Crowley’s Order of the Golden Dawn (OTO). It is pictured in the book ‘WITCHES AND SORCERERS’ by Arkon Daraul, page 226. One resides in our personal collection of magical art objects.” They add that this “magic lamp” “represents earth, fire, air, water. Sign of the Heathen occultist, the solitary wanderer wise in the ways of the cosmos.... See, ‘The Magic Circle; Its Successful Organization & Leadership,’ by Rev. Yaj Nomolos, for more information.” Nomolos is with the Church of Satan.

The Council for a Parliament of World Religions (CPWR) also describes the logo they use. The November 1993 issue of CPWR Journal proclaims: “Five years ago, when Hyde Parker Larry Janiak designed the symbol of unity for the Parliament of the World’s Religions, he believed that someday the people of Chicago might get to see his creation. He had no idea that his symbol would become known to people all around the world. ‘I’m very happy and I hope it helps to unify the world’s religions,’ said the 55-year-old Janiak....
