How to Interpret Dreams and Visions Perry Stone
my mind feels clean and refreshed. It can be compared to the mind being washed in water! Claim the promises of rest. There are two beautiful passages believers can read, speak aloud, and receive for their personal benefit prior to going to bed at night:
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. —P SALM 4:8
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. —P ROVERBS 3:24
One of my staff workers, Andrea Anderson, shared during a Friday morning staff devotional how when she was a little girl she would have nightmares continually. Her father, a dedicated believer, would go into her room and pray for her to have a good night’s sleep. She commented, “Every time my dad prayed, I would go right to sleep and never have a scary dream or nightmare. However, if for some reason he was not able to pray, it seemed on those nights I did not sleep as well and would have disturbing dreams.”
