Many times I was returning from an extended revival—four to eleven weeks in one church, where hundreds were converted to Christ. I entered the room like a little whirlwind, excited about the Lord’s blessing and the spiritual results. Imagine one revival going eleven weeks with more than five hundred converts to Christ! Most of the time I couldn’t refrain from telling what happened, and all I would get in response was a smile and a look like, “OK, let’s talk about something else.” It seemed the other brethren were not as excited—in reality they weren’t. They would have been more thrilled if the revival had been in their church and not someone else’s!
