How to Interpret Dreams and Visions Perry Stone
she gave me in the dream. She is full of personality and is exactly like the girl in the dream. While we didn’t discuss it much, during those years the dream was always in the back of my mind. Perhaps this is why it is written:
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.”
—H ABAKKUK 2:2–3
An hour after Amanda’s birth I wrote this poem for her:
Deep in sleep in the middle of the night A vision, a dream, such a wonderful sight A dark-haired girl who calls me Dad I awoke—just a dream—oh, so sad.
Days turn to years, then again you appear
Late in the night, in a dream you are there Your name is Amanda, meaning worthy of love I awoke and prayed to the Lord up above
