pointing out numerous prophecies related to the “last days” to undergird their statement. However, these same men cannot avoid this Acts 2 promise from the Lord. To indicate that a particular verse is a “last days prophecy prediction for our time” and then turn around and say, “But this verse in Acts is not for today,” is not only spiritually dishonest, but it also hinders people from believing God will reveal warnings and personal instructions in visions and dreams!

GOD COMMUNICATES WITH US THROUGH DREAMS AND VISIONS

For four thousand years of biblical history, from Adam to the Christ, God revealed insights and revelations to holy men through visions, dreams, and mental inspiration. The agent of these revelations was the Holy Spirit. That same Spirit is covering the earth today as nations of hungry individuals study the Word of God and see events that will come to pass through the means of visions and dreams. God still speaks today! The Book of Job introduces Job as the “greatest of all the people of the East” (Job 1:3). His wealth portfolio included houses, land, seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred female donkeys, and five hundred yoke of oxen. He was blessed with ten children and servants (Job 1–2). Satan planned a strategy against Job with the intention of destroying his integrity and causing him to profane and curse God (Job 1:10–11).
