began falling. Lying on my stomach, I was holding on with the fingers of my hand clawing into the hard surface. I knew I could face death and began praying. The following week I learned that on the same day, at the same time I was in danger, my father and mother were driving through Knoxville, Tennessee. Suddenly Dad saw a sudden mental vision of me in danger, and he shouted to Mom, “We need to pray. Perry’s life is in danger.” Dad interceded for one hour, often crying and pleading with the Almighty that wherever I was, I would be safe. It took me one hour to get across the slick side of the island, and I knew it was prayer that sustained me. When my wife and I were searching for property to construct a new ministry center, she and I were at our desks—I was studying, and she was engaged in bookkeeping. Without any warning I sensed that I should get out of the building and drive our van to the opposite end of town. I saw a piece of property in my spirit that I had never seen before. After convincing her that I had a word of knowledge from the Lord, we drove to a part of town we never knew existed. There we found the house we lived in for five years and the property on which we have built two major ministry centers!
