Suddenly three of the four walls collapsed near the toilet. I was uncertain of what it meant, but it was the restroom Granddad always used that was next to his and my grandmother’s bedroom. Dad then dreamed that Granddad was working in the attic and became twisted in wires. He fell among the wires and died. Weeks later Granddad was taken to the Elkins Hospital for surgery on his intestines. After the surgery he had three strokes, affecting his brain, and he became like a vegetable, lying in the intensive care unit. It seemed as if wires were connected to every part of his body.
