Looking for understanding, they turn toward another young woman with a similar experience. Both were hurt by men, both abused verbally, both rejected, so both understood one another. Sounds good, right? But it’s good only if their affections remain natural and pure; in this case they can be healed of the wounds. However, in many cases this situation leads to a same-sex relationship that continues for many years. This is how the master illusionist works. Watch the hurt in the right hand, but as you concentrate on the pain in the right hand, the real setup is in left hand. Thus, the root is not the fruit, and the fruit is not the root; what you see is often only on the surface. We see the addictions and not the wounds, the rebellion and not the rejection, the drunkenness and not the depression, and the illusion but not the deception.
