angels were under the authority of this special angel, whom we now understand became Satan after his expulsion. It is uncertain exactly what Satan’s original assignment was, but he certainly does not want to see men enter into the presence of God and experience the peace and joy of salvation. He attempts to stop true worship! This fallen angel is our archenemy. Having traveled the world since age eighteen, I have encountered many of the same questions from believers of all backgrounds that I believe need to be answered as we expose the strategies in Satan’s playbook. The adversary continually plants the thoughts in our minds that he has much more access to our lives than we know and more freedom to move in and out of our situations than we can control. What are the facts? One of the most common questions deals with the adversary’s ability to know our thoughts—or read our minds. Is this possible? The next chapter will explore this possibility.
