The flesh cannot understand the things of the Spirit, and the Spirit cannot abide with the things of the flesh. It is like mixing oil and water—they separate and never join. Condemnation will cease when we walk to please the Spirit of the Lord and not the flesh. The flesh is weird, because it begs to be fed, but once you feed it, then it begins to make your spirit man feel sick. Once you begin to feed the spirit man using the Word of God, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers, the flesh nature is brought under control to the will of the Spirit.
