ministered nightly for four months without a break. By the conclusion of the fourth month, my nerves were tingling and my body was so tired I was unable to personally pray for seekers at the altar. I was working hard but not working smart . Today, however, through our weekly telecast Manna-fest , the Internet, books, CDs, DVDs, and our Voice of Evangelism magazine, I can reach more people around the world in thirty days than I previously reached in twenty-five years of ministering in local churches. That is working smarter. According to Solomon: The diligent will not deal with others by being slack and idle with their work— Proverbs 10:4. The diligent will keep his job, but a lazy person will always lose his—Proverbs 12:24. The diligent will always follow through, but the slothful will do a halfway job— Proverbs 12:27. The diligent plan for their futures with financial prosperity in mind—Proverbs 21:5. The diligent and skillful will stand before great men and kings—Proverbs 22:29.
