Childbirth is a normal part of the human life cycle for a woman. The Lord has said: No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. —Exodus 23:26 The apostle Paul also revealed a special promise of protection for a woman during childbirth: For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control. —1 Timothy 2:13–15 These scriptures are not man-made opinions on this subject, but they are wonderful promises from the inspired Word of God. Orthodox Jews believe in large families, believing that numerous children are signs of God’s blessing, as it is written: And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb. —Deuteronomy 7:13 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,

The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.
