Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown
56 "I know, but I think she is very deceived and controlled. She thinks this couple are servants of Jesus Christ. The man calls himself a ’Prophet of God’but I really question just which god he is serving," Betty explained. Rebecca sat up alert. That got her full attention. "Where did this guy come from and how long has he been there?" "Well, I don’t know just where he came from, but he has been there a couple of days. He and his wife travel in an R.V. Apparently Sara met them two or three years ago. This ‘prophet’ says he was sent to your place by ‘god.’" "So what has he done to make you think he isn’t a true ser vant of Jesus Christ?" Rebecca asked. "Several things. First of all, his wife sits on the couch rolling her eyes up and back into her head humming what sounds like quiet chants, rocking herself back and forth while her husband is expounding on something. I tried to speak to her a couple of times, but she didn’t respond. She seemed to be in a trance of some sort. The thing that really caught my at tention was when he started telling us about how he had a dog which he loved very much. He told us that ‘god’ told him that he loved the dog too much. So, he had to sacrifice it like Abraham had to sacrifice Isaac. He said he took the dog out and killed it and sacrificed it! Also, he told us that he sees into the spirit world ALL the time. He talked a lot about seeing werewolves. He says he sees demons con tinuously and that he sees the werewolves in the spirit realm. Christians DON’T see into the spirit realm all the time like that. I never could get any kind of statement out of him as to who he serves. He always sidestepped my ques tions and kept saying that he is ‘a prophet of god.’" "Oh no!" Rebecca groaned. "Didn’t Sara think that sounded a bit strange? Especially the part about sacrificing his dog!" Chapter 4 Cages & Curses
