35 up. I didn’t think I would survive. A man at the church in troduced me to Chick Publications, so I called them up and asked them if they had anything on Satanism. They said yes they did, and I thought, "I bet!" I figured it would be surface material. But, when I first saw the cover of that book I freaked out! I knew without a doubt that someone KNEW the truth about Satanism. Then when I started reading about Sister Courage I could hardly believe my eyes! I had been told that she was dead. I could hardly believe that she was still alive." "You mean you knew Elaine while she was still in the craft?" Rebecca asked in surprise. "Oh Yes. And, I knew Sedona, Elaine’s associate. Sedona (her craft name), was totally hateful. She seemed to espe cially hate me. Boy was I glad when Sedona lost her posi tion not too long before I came to Christ!" Rebecca smiled. "I’ve had a few encounters with Sedona myself. That was years ago when Elaine first came out of the craft. In fact, Elaine took me to her house once. Boy, talk about an evil place! I have heard recently, from someone coming out of the craft, that Sedona is still very angry with ,, , _ tl me. "What do you mean?" Joyce asked. "Well, you see, one day Sedona astral-projected into my home to try to kill me. Instead, I ended up forcing her to bow down to Jesus with her nose right on the floor. I described the incident in my first book, He Came To Set The Captives Free , only I just gave her the name Sally in that book instead of using her craft name." Joyce laughed.
