Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown
223 Sam shook his head. "No, I wanted to tell them to get lost that I would never serve Satan, but I just couldn’t. I don’t understand why." Clearly, Sam was demonically bound. The Christian brother with whom I was working on this occasion had never seen a case of demonic bondage preventing salvation, so I pushed Sam a bit more to clearly show this brother what was going on. "Sam," I said, "choose right now who you are going to serve. Are you going to serve Satan, or are you going to serve Jesus Christ?" Sam moved restlessly. "Rebecca, I want to choose, but Ijust can’t. I really can’t." I got up and handed Sam a marker for the black board which was in the office. I went to the board and drew a line down the center. I wrote "Satan" on one side, "Jesus" on the other side. Then I asked Sam. "Here, you know scripture better than any eighteen year old I have ever met. I want you to write down the pros and cons of serving Satan and serving Jesus. Then make your decision. Sam went to the board and wrote down scripture after scrip ture. It didn’t take him long to fill up the board. When he was finished he turned to us and said, "The answer is ob vious. There is NO benefit at all in serving Satan." "O.K.," I said, "then make your decision, Sam. WHO are you going to serve!" Sam sat down in defeat. "I want to decide for Jesus, but I just can’t. Oh, it is useless. I am unable to make a decision."
