Ron shook his head saying, "Yes, I guess so, but I don’t think anything happened." "What do you mean?" I asked. "I mean, I don’t think any of the demons left because I didn’t feel anything." It was only the grace of the Lord that kept me from wring ing Ron’s neck right there on the spot. It was very late and we had all just spent about five exhausting hours with him, and he didn’t think anything had happened because he didn’t FEEL anything! This is a very good demonstration of the trap so many thousands of Christians have fallen into. If they don’t FEEL something, they don’t think anything has happened! THERE IS NO FEELING IN FAITH! FOLLOW-UP: Ron had a very difficult year after his deliverance. He con tinually demanded emotional rewards, and felt that the Lord was not interested in a relationship with him because He did not give Ron the feelings he wanted. Ron also con tinued to have the abdominal pain though not as severe. I told him that the demons could and would create the same symptoms from the outside as from the inside. But Ron refused to accept any discomfort at all. I urged him to go for a complete medical evaluation, which he did. The doctors j were unable to find anything physically wrong. The pastor that helped me with Ron continued to counsel with him and eventually got Ron established in a good Christian church. I urged Ron to spend much time in Bible study and scrip ture memory. I also counselled him to ask the Lord to speak to him ONLY through the scriptures for a period of time
