Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown

217 church to church for a year without any help. That’s when he came to us. We talked to Ron extensively, making up a list of doorways. Ron had great difficulty accepting the fact that the three spirits he heard from so regularly were actually demon spirit guides. We showed him from scripture that these spirits proved their nature by the fact that they had led Ron into all sorts of sexual sins. For the first time, Ron had to square ly face the fact that God did NOT make any special excep tions to His commandments as the spirit guides had told Ron. Ron was particularly hesitant to give up his tongues. He ar gued that the only way he could pray was in tongues. That in itself was proof that his tongues were not from the Holy Spirit. The demons had Ron in so much bondage that he literally could not pray in English. He could do so only under the control of the demon in a demonic tongue. We spent several hours with Ron helping him to pray through all the doorways to repent and close them and com mand the demons to leave. As Ron prayed, the Lord did a remarkable work, steadily revealing to him more sins that he had forgotten to tell us about. After Ron had closed each doorway individually, he went through and also did a general clearing of spirit, severing between soul and spirit, soul and body, as I described in Case #1. After it was all over, we were all exhausted. We heaved a big sigh of relief and sat back on the floor from where we had been kneeling. "Wow, Ron," I remarked, "the Holy Spirit really did a powerful work in you. Wasn’t that wonderful how He kept showing you areas you had forgot ten to tell us about?"
