214 always work with another brother in Christ who leads the session. Here is Ron’s story as we began to question him about his life. Ron was born to Christian parents who were missionaries in Mexico. He did not know of any problems of inheritance as both of his parents came from a long line of Christian families. All went well until Ron turned sixteen. At that time, his folks came back to the U.S. for a year. During that time, his mother fell into adultery and the marriage split as a result. In the emotional struggle Ron went through over his parent’s divorce, he sought the Lord personally for the first time. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He had a deep experience with the Lord and became very en thusiastic to serve the Lord. Reading his Bible and praying was his joy. About six months after his salvation, Ron was asked to go to a Christian camp for a youth revival. He went and great ly enjoyed the weekend. The camp was a good one except for one thing. They taught wrongly about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. At the end of the last service at the camp which was a very emotional one, an invitation was given to all those who wanted to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Of course Ron wanted it, so he went up to the altar for prayer. Unfortunately, the people at the altar were told to close their eyes and hold up their arms and hands. Then they were told to shake their arms and hands, relaxing them, and then to completely stop controlling their arms and hands, to clear out their minds and give up the control of their mind and body to the "Holy Spirit." They were told that, as they did this, that the Holy Spirit would then be free to come into them and completely take them over. Ron was too young a
