Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown
192 likely they are to remain free of demons once they are set free. It is also helpful to find out just how much control the per son has established over his spirit, and/or how much control somebody else has established over that person’s spirit. You should keep two lists of sins. One list is for the sins that allowed demons to come into a person (temple-defiling sins), the other list is of sins that are not demonic doorways, but are still sins that need to be confessed. Please see Ap pendix A for help with the second list. The deliverance worker must always be much in prayer. If the Holy Spirit does not give you a peace that the person you are helping has been completely honest with you in making the list of doorways, do not proceed beyond this step. I never cease to be amazed at the way people can lie. Over and over again I have had people look at me so in nocently and tell me that they have told me about ALL of their doorways when they have deliberately left out major areas of sin! Don’t be afraid to wait. NEVER go into a deliverance unless the Lord specifically tells you to do so. STEP 2: REPENT and confess those sins asking God for forgiveness and cleansing. I think it is very unfortunate that so little repentance is preached these days. RARELY do Christians sit down and make out a list of every sin they can think of and SPECIFI CALLY confess those sins to God. I find that those people who do this at the time of initial salvation have very little trouble believing that they are saved. Too many Christians struggle with assurance of salvation. If Christians would be. more diligent in confessing their sins, I believe that few would have this struggle.
