189 WHEN DELIVERANCE IS DONE AS A STEP IN FAITH, DEMONIC MANIFESTATION WILL NOT BE PER MITTED. This was a major "key" in helping me to understand how the Lord wanted deliverance to be done. No wonder I had such a terrible time trying to get the demons out of someone. As I permitted the demons to speak through a person, I was, in reality, asking that person to sin, and I was sinning too! It is most difficult to get a demon to come out of someone while they are engaging in active sin. Once I realized this and started approaching deliverance as a step in faith, there were no more fights with the demons! Deliverance became very simple. We human beings make things so complicated. God makes everything simple. Deliverance then is like this: > Repent for the sin that allowed demons to come in. > Command the demons to leave that came in through that sin. > Accept by FAITH that God ALWAYS performs His word. IF a person truly repents for his/her sin, God WILL cleanse, and the demons have to leave. Once confession of sin and commanding the demons to leave is accomplished, the person accepts in faith that they are gone. Now, let us look at each of the four steps in deliverance one by one. STEP 1: Define the doorways or temple-defiling sins. As I stated in Chapter 11,1do not believe that demons can come into a person through just any sin. I believe that what I call "templedefiling sins" fall into the three categories:
