187 The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ has NO concord or fellow ship or agreement with Belial or ANY demon spirit. There fore, any Christian who allows a demon to take over and control his body in any way is sinning! The book of James, especially chapters 3 and 4, teaches us that WE are respon sible to control our bodies.

"For in many things we offend all. IF any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle [control] the whole body." James 3:2

James 4:8 tells us to cleanse our hands and hearts. There are many scriptures that make reference to our respon sibility to control our bodies. The major hindrance to deliverance is SIN! We must NOT sin by obtaining information from demons, neither must we allow the people we work with to sin by becoming a medium or channel for demons to speak through. These practices are condemned by God’s word. The Lord then showed me that deliverance must be a step in faith. Our whole Christian walk is based on faith. Everything we receive from the Lord we receive by faith. Deliverance is no different. How does faith operate in deliverance? It is like this: FAITH = absolute acceptance, as fact, that God always per forms His word. Therefore, deliverance is based upon God’s word. We ac cept as FACT, that, when we comply with God’s commands, He will always keep His promises. Deliverance is based upon the following scriptures:
