184 must stop sinning, but we must also cleanse all filth out of the temple. That means demons. The more we come to know God, the more aware we will be of our sinful condition! It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit will show each individual something of the awesome great ness of our God.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7
It is only as we come to a reverent appreciation of the great ness and utter holiness of our God that we will fall on our faces and cry out:
"Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of un clean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." Isaiah 6:5
Let us humble ourselves and get on our faces before the Lord and repent of our sins! Let us be careful to cleanse ourselves in order that we may become vessels that our Master can use. Oh how I want to be a profitable servant for my Master! It is my total heart’s desire to please Him. I can not do this if I am careless about sin and careless about defilement in my temple (me). I have spent the last several chapters of this book talking about areas of sin that bring about defilement, or the dwell ing of demons, in us. If you have been involved in any of these areas, then you need to cleanse yourself. It is my belief that the average Christian can cleanse himself through the power and authority given to him by the Lord Jesus Christ. I am writing this chapter so that Christians can do just this. Unless you have been deeply involved in the occult, you do not need someone else to help you cleanse yourself. It is
