So Semiramis proclaimed the dead Nimrod to be the "deliverer" promised by God to Adam and Eve in the gar den of Eden. Shortly after her husband’s death, she had a son who was called Tammuz. Semiramis proclaimed Tam muz to be Nimrod come back to life as promised by God in the great messianic promise given to Eve. Down through the ages and in every land around the world this false mother and child has been worshipped under various names. Semiramis became "the queen of heaven" and remains so to this day. Therefore, "weeping for Tammuz" was for the purpose of bringing Nimrod back to earth, and the demon worshipped by that name, to be present with the people performing the ceremony. Therefore, we clearly see that demons were in side the north gate. (Figure 9-6) Then the Lord told Ezekiel that He was going to show him the worst abomination of all.
