First, because western European nations have heavy Shiite populations, they understand that their entire nation could suffer irreparable damage from Muslim fanatics unleashing biochemical or nuclear weapons upon their population centers. Secondly, Arab Muslims own the oil fields and refineries. The financial base of Europe could be destroyed with a massive oil embargo similar to the one America encountered in 1973-74. We recently discovered that the suicide terrorists who crashed into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were "sleepers," a modern term for a terrorist who fits into the customs and culture of the country.
