Unleashing the Beast

62 / U NLEASHING THE B EAST

After hearing teaching on the Antichrist for many years, I began to realize that one major group of people were never mentioned in prophetic preaching. Ministers spoke of Israel and the Jews, along with the Common Market and Europe. It seemed no one was giving prophetic insight on how 1.2 billion Muslims fit into the prophetic picture. I was also unsure how Muslims fit into Biblical prophecies until I met a young Iranian woman who gave me some astonishing information that I had never read or heard taught. The puzzle began to come together for me. Years ago, while ministering in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I met Ellie, a young woman from Iran. She was a Christian, but her family members were Shiite Muslims. During a revival I preached from Revelation 13, emphasizing the Antichrist and the false prophet. After the service, Ellie approached me and asked if I had heard the teaching about the last Islamic prophet who was to appear at the end of days. I said I had not. Later that evening, she gave me some astonishing information. To understand this theory, however, it is necessary to examine the history of the Islamic religion.
