And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. Both saw a final period of seven years. • Daniel spoke of this as one week in 9:27. • John divided up the events of Revelation: 42 months and 42 months, or seven years. 2. Both saw a final 42 months of world history. • Daniel called the period in Hebrew, time, times and the dividing of time (Daniel 12:7). • John said it would last 1,260 days, or three and a half years (Revelation 12:6). 3. Both identified the Antichrist as a beast. • Daniel saw him as the fourth beast rising (Daniel 7:7).
