In July of 2001, Dr. Tatyana Koryagina, a senior research fellow at the Institute of Macroeconomic Research, made a prediction that America would experience a financial attack. Her article, published in Pravda , was titled, "The Dollar and America Will Fall Down on August 19." She was quoted as saying: The U.S. has been chosen as the object of financial attack because the financial center of the planet is located there. The effect will be maximal. The strike waves of economic crisis will spread over the planet instantly, and will remind us of the blast of a huge nuclear bomb. According to Koryagina, the individuals behind the attacks were not the 19 terrorists, but a group of men seeking to reshape the world. She claims this is an extremely powerful group of private individuals with total assets of about $300 trillion dollars. They wish to legalize their power and form a new world government. Dr. Korygina predicted that the terrorists will again "strike America in the back" and bring it down. The purpose is to destroy America as the world's number one economy and make room for a group of elite, wealthy persons to eventually control the world through their personal wealth and power.
