and Medina in Saudi Arabia, the lamb had unusual white patterns on its black fleece. The patterns resembled the Arabic mark for the word Allah on one side, and the mark for the name Muhammad on the other side. The markings on the lamb caused a major stir, drawing visitors from China, Turkey, Central Asia and all the Arabic nations. How could a lamb be born with these two marks on its sides? Was this a mere natural phenomenon, a sign from Allah, or the early stages of what the Apostle Paul warned of—signs and wonders that will eventually cause people to be deceived? T HE F INAL S IGNS Muslims, Jews and Christians believe there are certain signs of the end of the age. The Muslims believe in the Mahdi and various signs of the end of time. The religious Jews are looking for the Messiah and have a series of Old Testament prophecies that indicate the birth pangs of the Messiah have arrived. Christians combine both the Old and New Testament revelations to form a Scriptural end-time theology. The difference between Christian theology and Islamic beliefs is that, to the Christian, the Bible is a book of prophecy and redemption; while the Koran is a book of simple instruction. The fulfillment of Biblical signs gives ample proof that the Scriptures are true. Cosmic signs are only one part of the evidence that indicates we are in the time of the end.
