A L -Q AEDA AND S EPTEMBER 11 One can be almost certain that Al-Qaeda did not position America's terrorist attack for September 11 as an assault on Christianity because of Christ's birthday. Yet, if this date is correct, it is imaginable that our spiritual adversary selected September 11 as the season for a major strike as a mockery of America, which is globally recognized as a Christian nation. The prophetic imagery in Revelation 12 is that of a male child being born to rule the nations. It pictures the dragon (Satan) attempting to destroy the child. The man child, who is Christ, is "caught up to the throne of God." Afterwards, Satan sets his attention towards a remnant of believers. According to Biblical prophecy, the Antichrist and the false prophet will produce their own supernatural signs to impress humanity to follow their diabolical program (see Revelation 13:12-15; 2 Thessalonians 2:9). With such warning, we should not be surprised when strange and unusual signs begin to appear in the Muslim world. After all, the Apostle Paul warned of the danger of spiritual deception inspired by satanic signs and wonders: Whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
