From a Hebraic understanding, the signs of a sackcloth sun and a blood moon can refer to a full solar and lunar eclipse. According to the Scriptures, this will be one form of cosmic activity prior to the coming Day of the Lord and the future Tribulation (Acts 2:20). E CLIPSE O VER E GYPT When the final Islamic dictator forms the eighth kingdom, he will invade Egypt. We read about this in Daniel 11:43 and in the book of Ezekiel. The Bible reveals unusual cosmic activity during this time. And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark: I will cover the sun with a cloud and the moon shall not give her light (Ezekiel 32:7). The bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and will set darkness upon the land saith the Lord God (Ezekiel 32:8). This prophecy has two possible interpretations. First, these clouds may form through massive explosions of weapons and bombs whose aftermath fills the skies with dark suffocating pillars of smoke and gas. This would create a dark cloud covering over both the sun and the moon. The second possibility is that the prophecy could refer to darkness caused by a complete solar eclipse.
