The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his Apostle, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of the hands and feet from from opposite sides or exile from the land (Surah V.36). It was once thought impossible that small, Third World nations would ever become a threat to modern existence. After all, America and Russia were the two super powers possessing weapons that create mushroom clouds. After the fall of Communism, the Soviet Union became a black marketer's dream. Weapons were sold for drugs and much needed money. In the early 90's one source informed me that the Iraqi government had hired over 500 former Soviet Union scientists working on its weapons program. These included several men knowledgeable in nuclear weapons development. But it is not just Iraq; Syria, Iran and Libya are all interested in amassing this dangerous arsenal of death. The campaign to arm fanatics and bring jihad to the shores of the West has now begun.
