Eventually, Iraq will fall to radical Islam. There may be a time of change after the death of Saddam Hussein, but it will be brief. Others note that Saddam has several sons who desire to take control of Iraq after their father's death. Lebanon was once an Arab Christian nation; but when the fanatical Muslims took over the nation, many Arab Christians were forced to flee the country. Some were permitted into Israel and others had to face severe persecution and even death at the hands of terrorists. For many years, the Iraqis, Syrians and Lebanese have been predominantly Sunni Muslim. It has been in the mind of the Shiite Muslims to control the governments of Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria and form an Islamic crescent that would include Israel.
