Israel, do not understand Middle Eastern customs and religious beliefs, and certainly have omitted the world's 1.2 billion Muslims from the prophetic picture. Therefore, some of what you are reading may go against the grain of tradition. I challenge people to weigh this information in light of Scriptures, instead of through handed-down Western theology. Often we need to re-examine our theology and be willing to adjust when we receive more light on a subject. Several years ago, I was teaching on "The Islamic Beast Theory" at a major prophetic conference. One man said, "Perry, your teaching on the Islamic beast makes more sense than anything I have heard. Yet, I can't teach this. I have too many books out there that teach something else." I jokingly told this teacher that in 1978, as a teenage preacher, I knew who the Antichrist was until they shot him; then I had to change my teaching. I also had to tell folks that I was wrong. I was preaching what other people were saying, instead of researching the Word and comparing Scripture with Scripture. T HE U LTIMATE G OAL The ultimate plan of Islam is to unite the world in a global world order under the control of Islam. Some in the West (America) think this is an unreachable goal, but consider that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the Middle East and Europe.
