When a Man Teaches His Family God’s Word and
Ways, He Attracts God’s Trust and Friendship.
he dominion assignments of teacher and cultivator are an integral part of God‘s purpose and design for the male. The import ance of men‘s involvement in teaching God‘s Word to the members of their families and others within their realms of influence and of encouraging them in their personal growth needs to be recaptured today. T We‘ve seen that God gave Ada m specific instructions re garding how mankind should live and work in the Garden, and that He left it up to Adam to communicate to Eve what he had been told. In this way, God set the precedent for the male to be the primary teacher of the family. Some men believe that because they have a responsibili ty to teach, they are more intelligent than women. If this were a matter of intelligence, many women would blow us away, men! Being a teacher doesn‘t mean that you are more intelligent — it simply means that your purpose is to commu nicate God‘s Word and will to your fa mily. The Male as Teacher
Created to Teach
The male was created to be the spiritual leader and teacher of his family. The Bible says that if a wife has a ques tion about a spiritual matter during church, she should ask her husband about it when they get home. (See 1 Corin thians 14:35.) Why? He is supposed to know the Word. Yet
