THE POWER OF IMAGINATION Any private sin begins with impressions , thoughts that become a visible mental picture. This is the realm of imagination and mental images. If the imprints on your mind become a fantasy story in your head, then they will become an obsession you will pursue. Obsessions eventually forge mental strongholds, and strongholds are like walls that keep your thoughts locked in a cage in bars of your own mental prison. When mental thoughts persist over time, and these thoughts are negative, perverse, or fleshly, then the Holy Spirit will initiate a good dose of conviction to reprove you and move
