Believers who were wounded in their emotions or in their spirits by hateful words, negative past experiences, or physical abuse are often stuck in a pit of the past, chained with the bands of unforgiveness, and are often challenged with the ability to remain steadfast and stable, not living in the cracks. I have actually seen believers who are so cracked in their emotions that when they come to work, their coworkers don’t know if they are going to experience Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde! One day they act as if they have been to a resurrection, and the following day as if they have just returned from a funeral. The worst crack comes from those who have fallen into sin.
