being dropped or mishandled or by having a weak spot in one area. In ancient times clay vessels were used by all nationalities of people. Clay vessels were strong unless they were put under extreme pressure, dropped, or cracked. Every person at some point of time will encounter a crack in his or her attitude, thought life, spiritual walk, or in dealing with others. These are the cracks in our armor. When these cracks occur in our attitude, we will begin thinking thoughts that we would normally avoid. Eventually the cracks are like an untreated cut; they form a spiritual infection that sets in, and soon we are not the same person we were. The negative thoughts in our head have taken the eighteen-inch drop from the mind to our heart. Once a vessel is cracked, it cannot effectively hold its liquid contents. It ceases to be what it was created to be. If it was created to hold water, then water will leak from the crack. If it held oil, then oil will flow out of the small opening. A cracked vessel can be filled to the brim; however, if it is cracked, in just a few moments the precious liquid will form a puddle on the outside of the vessel. LEAKY BELIEVERS There is what I call leaky believers . They can receive a spiritual blessing in an altar service, and before they arrive home, the peace and joy of their blessing have lifted. They receive an infusion of the joy of the Lord on Wednesday night, only to have the smile and glow on their countenance become a frown and a dull expression by Thursday morning. As an illustration,
