—PSALM 31:12

7. The vessels of mercy And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory. —ROMANS 9:23 These seven vessels identify the seven spiritual characteristics found in each person and how God views each person based upon the level of their spiritual walk. • The earthen vessel: We are all earthen vessels formed from the clay of the earth by the Master Potter. As vessels of clay, we are subject to being broken if mishandled or mistreated or if internal pressure builds, making a weak spot on our vessel, which eventually causes a small crack. • The vessel of honor: This is any vessel who will submit to God’s will and purpose, following Him through obedience in every area of his or her life. The life and work of such an individual bring honor to the Lord and to His name.
