By helping others she had built up her favor account in heaven, and God released the interest back to her to withdraw from the heavenly principal in her account. DON’T GIVE UP WHEN THE FAVOR DRIES UP In the days of Elijah a famine was sweeping Israel. A national famine affects both the righteous and the unrighteous. God set up Elijah in a location where there was a brook of flowing water and sent ravens to feed him bread and meat, saying to Elijah, “I have commanded the ravens to feed you” (1 Kings 17:4).
