FAVOR ON A FOREIGN FIELD Our VOE organization supports numerous missionaries whom we have personally known and worked with for many years. One in particular, a woman (we will leave nameless), travels into some of the most remote and difficult parts of the world and is assigned by the Holy Spirit to concentrate on people groups who have never heard the gospel. The reason some have never heard is because the physical danger and threats of taking the gospel to these groups is so great that foreign missionaries with children are hesitant to travel and risk their lives. This female missionary must have divine favor from the moment she steps off the plane to the moment she is headed back to America. She tells amazing stories of how God appeared to blind the eyes of border guards to Bibles, protected her from dangerous rebel groups and possible prison time, and the list goes on. Often when speaking of favor some believe it is just a “Western thing” because we have it easier, and with more churches it means more kingdom connections and financially most Christians have a job or some form of income. However, God’s favor is not a regional or ethnic thing; it’s a potential blessing for all of the children of God. One missionary told me about one “underground pastor” (I had seen his picture and heard his testimony) who had been arrested in a Communist nation that persecutes and, at times,
