When struggling with verbal, mental, and physical attacks, including temptations, Christ is our example as He quoted the Word of God to resist Satan’s mental darts (Matt. 4:1–10). When you have a true prophetic word spoken over your destiny, when the enemy attempts to steal your future, you must recall the words and promise the Holy Spirit has given and fight with the prophecies that have gone before you. This includes spiritual dreams, visions, and personal words given to you by the Holy Spirit. 3. W E MUST FIGHT WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF G OD’S WILL (H EB . 10:36). This is a powerful concept. Being in the will of God means that nothing can get past God, surprise God, or even affect your destiny unless it is permitted in the will of God. The will of God is God’s predesigned purpose for your life. The will of God is being what you are, who you are, where you are at the time. Since the steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord (Ps. 37:23), then each part of your life is directed, even when the circumstances seem otherwise. Job was still in God’s will even when he lost his children, wealth, and health. Years ago a noted minister had a major heart attack and was near death’s door. His boss was a noted minister who prayed for the sick and saw great miracles. The minister came to the hospital ICU, bent over, and asked his colleague, “Do you
