Chapter 5 HUMAN CRACKS IN VESSELS OF HONOR

M ANY YEARS AGO MY EVANGELISTIC MEETINGS WOULD extend from one week to an average of three weeks in every church. At times they were like a marathon and would continue for five to eleven weeks—sometimes every night! In the late 1990s our ministry was growing, so we hired staff to assist us in filling orders, answering the mail, and designing graphics for our Voice of Evangelism (VOE) magazines, along with other important ministry related activities. Being so long out of the office made it quite difficult on both myself and our staff, as when I returned home I often had one day on the schedule to get caught up from weeks of mail and to prepare for the next revival. It also created an excellent opportunity for stress levels to rise.
