The religious Jews who rejected Christ as Messiah were threatened by Paul’s conversion as the apostle was a leading and well respected Jewish rabbi prior to his Damascus Road conversion. You can overcome Satan by “the blood of the Lamb and by the word of [your] testimony” (Rev. 12:11). Your testimony is a weapon of war, a flaming arrow that can penetrate and melt the hardest heart. It is your testimony that can become the seed of influence and influence and lead others to follow your example. If the adversary can mar your testimony, he can sever your influence among those who are watching you to see if you truly live the life you are preaching that they should live. A strong testimony can be the first key to open the door of release for those in spiritual captivity. Cutters and many who have suicidal thoughts are in instant need of three things from a caring, loving person or group of individuals. The first thing is love and concern. Never take lightly a child or youth saying they are being bullied at school, a girl in her room crying because of a broken relationship, or a man depressed because he lost his job. At this moment they do not need to be isolated; they need a friend to talk to them and keep their mind active with other things, not sitting alone in sorrow and pain. Second, the friend or group must see if they can intervene in the situation that has created the negative thoughts. Great encouragement is needed, and a reminder that things will not
