I cannot understand why some men and women willfully choose to follow Satan, when his past record is one of complete failure. He was created as one of the most magnificent angelic beings, an anointed cherub, who lost his leadership position in heaven, was expelled, and is presently an unemployed cherub. He was also assigned as a worship leader to direct the angelic host in worshipping God upon the sacred, holy mountain, yet he was booted off the mountain and excommunicated from the angelic heavenly choir. A third of the angelic hosts were deceived into following him in his rebellion, believing he could succeed in overpowering and overthrowing God and capturing God’s throne room in a hostile takeover, but they were met with fierce opposition and forcibly expelled from the temple of heaven (Isa. 14:12–15; Ezek. 28:11–15; Luke 10:18). That was just his past before Adam was created! And people want to follow this failure? Consider that, if you follow this prince of darkness, his future is your future. According to Scripture he will be expelled
