So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. —GENESIS 1:27, KJV Being created in God’s image means that you are a reflection of Him. Angels are spirits only, but each human born on Planet Earth is a spirit with a soul living in a body (1 Thess. 5:23). A unique and sacred gift was imparted to man that separates him from the animal kingdom. A man and woman can procreate a human who has an eternal soul and spirit, an act that no angelic being in either the kingdom of light or darkness can do. You are also distinguished from the angels by a life-giving force that is pumped throughout your physical body, a substance called blood. Neither Satan, fallen angels, nor any angel in the heavenly realm have any form of blood within their being. While your outward man of the flesh will age and eventually perish, your inner soul and spirit are eternal, meaning they can never perish or die and thus will live on— either with God in His presence or in the lake of fire with the fallen angels and Satan (Rev. 20:14–15; 21:8). Herein is the primary reason for Satan working against God and working to deceive and capture men and women. If you choose to enter into a redemptive covenant with Christ and you continue in your faith, you will enter the heavenly kingdom of God and gain the gift of eternal life. This is why the death of one of His children is precious in the sight of the Lord
